TRIVIA
More than you wanted to know.
-
This book was originally going to be the second half of the first book. But since Tripp had no idea how many pages it would take, he had to split the story into two parts.
-
Johlick came back into the story because everyone wanted Quick on page. That raccoon is smart, but he needed someone to haul his fat butt all the way to Fallingwater.
-
The scene with the spinedragons and the woman on the observation tower was written and published several years before Jurassic World: Rebirth. Either they added it to the movie because they're fans or just coincidence. You be the judge.
-
Tripp wrote the climax around a central image: Lidai standing tall on the top of the Iron Tower, bow in hand.
-
Can one archer kill so many? Yes, though each arrow would have to find a gap in the armor. God gave Lidai a one-in-a-million gift with a bow. Seem unrealistic? Read the fascinating true story of Sergeant York, who killed 25 and captured 132 German soldiers. By himself!
