Pipe Wrench to Payroll

Grow Your Business from Self-Employed to CEO

Back Cover Summary

You hustle, hustle, hustle, but never seem to get ahead.

Do you run a tiny business? Are you self-employed? Do you have your sights set on something more?

Every business owner hustles. It’s what we do. Sooner or later, we have that moment when we realize hustling alone won’t help us grow.

Pipe Wrench to Payroll outlines what you need to learn and accomplish to grow a business from one to dozens of team members and more. None of this is rocket science but all of it must be learned.

This book is full of tips and practical instruction designed to help you grow your business. I wish someone had given me this book before I struggled to triple the size of my own company.

PRAISE FOR THE BOOK

Tripp likes the book, but he's not the only one.

Grow and Thrive

"The story of Jimmy and his business (Jimmy’s Pipes) and the realistic issues he faces as a business owner are oh-so-true and conveyed in a fun and engaging way that really makes you think about different scenarios that I know I didn’t think of. Chances are that you didn’t think of all of them either. Give this book a try. It’s a very inexpensive way to learn how to not just run a business, but grow and thrive!” Kendall, Amazon Customer

Well Worth the Time

"Pipe Wrench to Payroll lays out a path for business growth that is within every entrepreneur's reach. The Author weaves in his experiences in running a small business that I found illustrative. It's an easy read and well worth the time for a self-employed business owner wondering about the next step.” Amazon Customer

TRIVIA

More than you wanted to know.

  • Tripp's second book.

  • This book is meant for small business owners who know how to hustle but don't know how to grow their business.

  • Contains a fictional story about Jimmy, a plumber who starts working alone out of his van and retires as the CEO of the largest plumbing company in his state. Many of Jimmy's hurdles were Tripp's own, too.

  • If Tripp can do it, so can you.

  • Tripp typically writes the book without a title. The title comes naturally and easily after the first draft is complete and usually doesn't change much after that. Not this book. This one changed many times. Tripp considers it the most difficult title for any of his books.
