THE TOEDRAGON'S CLAW
Book 6 of War of the Nephilim
Back Cover Summary
The White Nephilim cannot be allowed to survive.
An assassin is after Kenan. And not just any killer, but an evil Nephilim who doesn’t mind a little collateral damage. Worse, he’s enlisted Edeer’s most powerful gang: The Toeclaws. And Char says he’s helping them, but he has his own plans.

Wren isn’t needed at home, so he finds some new friends at the Goosedown Filler. He can control his drinking and gambling. After all, he could quit anytime he wants. It’s just a bit of harmless fun, right?

Lidai is spent. Olaine cries all the time. Wren never comes home to help. Her life is spinning out of control.

Will Kenan protect everyone from the Toeclaws? When Wren hits bottom, will he learn or keep on going like he always has? How will Lidai bring order, to say nothing of her husband, back to her home?

Step back into history, before the Tower of Babel, before the Flood, to a time of lush greenery, giant animals, and roving danger. Just don’t fall out of an Edeerian tree. It’s a long way down! Read The Toedragon’s Claw today!

TRIVIA
More than you wanted to know.
-
The chapter with Noah was on the cutting block almost as soon as Tripp wrote it. Not story critical. And yet, everyone objected to its removal. Besides, more about Noah and his family is coming.
-
This book was Tripp's retirement spanner. He started writing it six months before retirement and didn't finish until six months after.
-
Writing Wren's scenes were difficult, as they were out of character. That's part of what makes dealing with addicts so draining. It's just not them.
-
There's only one chapter from Tadd's POV. This book just isn't about him. But dang, it was fun to write.
-
This book marks the first time Tripp used SmallCAPS at chapter starts to identify to the reader how many pages there are in that chapter. To his knowledge, no one else does this. He plans to update the previous books to do the same.
