SACRIFICE On The DRAGONGRASS
Book 7 of War of the Nephilim
Back Cover Summary
What would you do if you fought for the enemy?
In Blackstone Castle, Kenan and Anna left Johlick for dead. And he was. But he woke up. The Midreerians questioned him, imprisoned him, and made him fight in Crimson River Yard. With tall and blond genes, they even sent him to Neera, a bloodmother encamped nearby. In time, he was promoted to centurion, learned to hope, and shared that hope with his men.
But now, Prince Gharan and his Midreerian army are on the move. Rowing up the Morderain River in hundreds of longboats, the army of over ten thousand is on its way to Edeer. Their mission? Destroy the small village of Blacktree. Seems like overkill. Or is it?
How will Johlick warn Blacktree and at the same time protect his hundred soldiers? Will a bloodmother leave the enclave? How will he save his infant daughter?
Step back into history, before the Tower of Babel, before the Flood, to a time of lush greenery, giant animals, and roving danger. Just watch yourself around those giants. You might find yourself scraped off the bottom of a big boot. Read Sacrifice on the Dragongrass today!

TRIVIA
More than you wanted to know.
-
Life sometimes uses your God-given talents to make you valuable in an occupation that leads you down the wrong path. Life truth. That observation led to this book.
-
I applied many of the leadership principles I learned in business and community organizations to this book.
-
When I was but a lad, I worked at Camp Hinds Boy Scout camp in Maine. There, we hauled thirty and forty pound snapping turtles out of the kiddy swimming area. That experience led to a scene in this book.

In these books, people are the same size, give or take, as they are now. But the bible says there were giants on the green creation at multiple points in history. Many or even all people pre-flood may have been much larger than today, like many of the fossilized animals reveal. I don't know whether we were bigger back then or not, though I suspect not. I chose to depict people our size not because I'm sure it was so, but so we would relate better to the story. As such, I made giants the exception; after all, the bible calls them exceptional.

Some of the animals in these stories seem aggressive or unimpressed by man. That was on purpose, as the fear of man was not instilled into animals until after the flood. However, there are exceptions, and I suspect there were exceptions even back then, perhaps related to regions, species, seasons, and what the men were up to. I'd be fearful if I was the one being hunted.
